About Michael Kesti


BUSINESS LIFE: Michael W. Kesti is President & CEO of NET MARKETING, LLC. and HEALTH VENTURES, Inc., a consulting firm based in Miami. He is also Chairman of GOVERNMENT RELATIONS GROUP, LLC.

Michael attended Southern Methodist University (SMU) as a Chemistry & Biology Major and Villanova University. He pursued his MBA at Villanova University and at The Wharton School of Business. At SMU, he was the first freshman appointed College Senator and was an active member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity.

Michael has been active in his communities having assisted in various fund raising efforts for the community serving as Chairman, CEO, & Board Member of many. He was the founder of the first HealthCorp/AmeriCorp Program in Florida and was the Founder of the 911 Family Fund, formed to assist the families of the September 11th Events. For his efforts, he has received many awards and recognitions, including the “Heroes In The Fight” Award, the Presidents Volunteer Service Award, and the Health Care Heroes Award to name a few. A few years ago, Michael was recognized by numerous communities and government officials for his assistance of the Anti-Corruption Efforts of federal government, including planning and participating in Covert Operations. Among the honors presented to Michael were Recognition of the US Senate and the special recognitions by the United Nations, Interpol, Federal Agencies, and International Agencies. Michael also served as Chairman – Advisory Council for the Armed Forces Service Center in Miami, Florida.

His ROTARY EXPERIENCE includes being the Founder and Chairman of Rotary Marlins Night, Rotary Panther Night, Rotary Dolphin Day, and Rotary Heat Night, in addition to serving in many positions for Rotary International District 6990, including Assistant Governor, Special Assistant to the Governor to Charter the Rotary Club of Miami MetroZoo, Governor’s Representative to The Rotary Club of Pinecrest, District Disaster Committee, Co-Chair of District Communications Committee, and President of The Rotary Club of Perrine-Cutler Ridge/Palmetto Bay. With his wife, Maria, (a past Club Past President, past Assistant Governor, past Area Governor, and Past District Secretary, they have attended 11 Rotary International Conventions, hosted an Rotary Exchange Student in their home, organized and chaperoned RYLA, sent their daughter on a Rotary Exchange Program to Germany, are multiple Paul Harris Fellows, members of the Rotary Bequest Society and Rotary Major Donors. He led a special project for his club resulting in his club receiving a PEACE THROUGH SERVICE AWARD at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, presented to only nine clubs in the world! Michael was featured in the February 2019 Issue of the ROTARIAN Magazine. .He created the RI District 6990 Foundation Corporate Funding Program, which he now is Co-Chair. He is currently on the Rotary International Caribbean Disaster Committee and the Rotary Haiti Earthquake Recovery Team. He now serves as District Governor for Rotary Year 2022-23 for Rotary International District 6990.

Michael currently resides in Palmetto Bay with his wife, Maria, and they have four grown children.

ROTARY - TURKEY/SYRIA EARTHQUAKE DISASTER RECOVERY EFFORTS

As Rotarians our hearts go out to those in need following the devastation from the recent Earthquakes in Turkey and Syria! As a District we will be collecting funds as well as supporting and participating in Rotary Disaster Grants in this effort. Additionally, we have the opportunity to provide some hands-on volunteer efforts.
