Cathie Schanz, CPRE is the Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Director, Public Information Officer, and Digital Engagement Director at the City of Hallandale Beach, Florida. She is one of the first Certified Parks and Recreation Executives in the State of Florida and has served the City for over 10 years.
Cathie is responsible for the planning, development, operations, and programming of the City’s Parks and Public Spaces. She also serves as the City’s Public Information Officer for all City communication as well as the Digital Engagement Director overseeing the City’s social media, website, and digital media assets.
