Since 2014, Hamza’s work has provided more than 50 million cups of clean water in South Asia, Middle East & Africa. He is the winner of Forbes 30under30, the Princess Diana Award, and the Points of Light Award from the Queen of England. He has also given a TEDx talk on his work & recently spoke at the Rotary Annual meeting in Houston.
With a focus on transparency, scalability, and longevity, Hamza has designed a proprietary solar-powered water filtration device that can bring up to 25 years of filtered water to off-grid communities at a fraction of the cost of conventional solutions. Hamza’s vision is to end the global water crisis within our lifetime.
In addition to his leadership at Bondh E Shams, Hamza is also Vice President of Macro Sales at the international investment bank, Goldman Sachs. Hamza studied Economics & Political Science at Williams College, MA, and University of Oxford, UK.
