Ron has been a member of the Rotary Club of The Villages since November 2017 and is a Paul Harris Award Recipient.
He spent 25 years growing up in Michigan, which explains his love of U of M Football – he claims to “bleed blue”. Ron moved to New Jersey in 1986, where he spent 29 years working and raising his sons Mathieu (29) & Patric (27) with his wife Jean, a fellow Rotarian. Ron served as an active member of a non-profit, Men Mentoring Men (M3) for 23 years while living in New Jersey. He was a member of the Executive Board and served as President for two years from 2012 to 2013.
In November of 2019, Ron & Jean volunteered to become ShelterBox Ambassadors. Their role as Ambassadors is to lead initiatives driving awareness and raising funds for ShelterBox USA.

You've Been Served Event will allow clubs in the Zones to demonstrate Rotary's motto of Service Above Self by performing acts of kindness and good deeds in their local communities. Clubs will work in conjunction with the Zones' Public Image team to advertise this event dedicated to service across the Zones. This event could become an annual event and may, one day, become international with Rotary Clubs all across the world participating.
