PDG Drew Monaghan has been a Rotarian since 2004. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Fort Lauderdale Cypress Creek.
Drew is a Major Donor.
At the Club level: Drew served as President of 2 Rotary Clubs, held multiple positions within the club, was named Rotarian of the Year and started 4 Interact Clubs. Drew and his wife Sara have hosted a Youth Exchange Student from Brazil.
At the District Level: PDG Drew was the District Governor for 2018-2019. He is the Chair of the Finance & Procedure Committee (the board of the district). He has served as Assistant Governor, Chair of Membership, Youth Exchange & Nominating Committee. Two of his favorite positions are past Director and Discussion Leader of the Rotary Leadership Institute and District Trainer.
Beyond the District: Drew is the Team Lead for DG training, a Governor Elect Training Seminar for 2020-2021, and a member of the Innovative Club Advocates appointed by the RI President and Zone Directors. He has served on the President Elect Training Seminar (PETS) Board, Operating Committee, Training Team lead & President Elect Trainer since 2008.
Drew is the President of the Private Exchange Group which he founded in 2008. PEG is a Qualified Intermediary for 1031 exchanges.
Drew is married to his lovely bride Sara and has 3 grown kids, Emily, Lisa, Matthew, and two middle school kids, Gabby and AJ. Their beloved dog, Bella, is their 6th kid. Drew loves sports, is a soccer coach, plays a pretty good game of racquetball, loves traveling with his wife and kids and is active in Indian Princesses and Adventure Guides.
