Born in Aberdeen, Scotland, George was educated at Aberdeen Grammar School and Aberdeen College of Commerce. First employed as a fledgling journalist, George went on to serve Her Majesty's Government, in the smuggling and drug enforcement department. After moving to England, George started his own company - George Hotels Ltd, and specialized in ownership and operation of hotels, restaurants, and English pubs. George sold all of his UK business interests and moved to the United States in 2004 with his wife, Carole, and daughter, Pippa.
George started GRB Properties LLC in Florida but retired in 2008 when he secured green card residency. George, Carole, and Pippa became US citizens in 2015. A past president of Bartow Rotary Club and past District Governor of District 6890 (2013/2014), George served a four-year term as an assistant Rotary Coordinator 2014-2018 and is now the Rotary Coordinator for Rotary Zone 34. George and Carole are major donors to the Rotary Foundation. And George is a member of the Paul Harris Society.

Go to https://escambiataxcollector.com/vehicles/license-plates/specialty-plate/ then click on "Continue to Full Site". You'll need your insurance information and Vehicle Identification Number (VIN#) located on your existing car registration and visible through the driverside windshield. Be sure to choose a "Security Code Word". An Escambia DMV Agent will call and use that code word before verifying payment information. Choose "Pre-Sale Vouchers'', click "Select Pre-Sale Voucher" then scroll down and choose "Rotary". Fill out everything and click “SUBMIT”. You can also personalize your tag. Once we reach 3,000 pre-sale vouchers, Florida DMV will distribute the tags.
