About Dr. Shantell Haynes-Cruz Leon:

Our Speaker this week is Dr. Shantell Haynes-Cruz Leon, a Rotarian member of our club. As a sex-trafficking survivor, warrior, educator, and trainer, she spreads education and advocacy regarding human trafficking. Shantell also engages in local/global humanitarian services to advance goodwill and peace around the world. She is a volunteer advocate with the City of Miami Police Department victims’ crime unit and an active member of the Broward Human Trafficking Coalition/STARS subcommittee.
