WED., JUNE 25TH @ 12:30 PM - 2:00 PM - HYBRID CLUB MEETING GUEST SPEAKER: EAMON TONER, TOPIC: MEMBERSHIP |
---|
When I arrived to set up our meeting on June 25, 2025, I was very apprehensive. A large, dark cloud was forming and rain, lots of rain, was coming. Additionally, four of our members were at the Rotary Convention in Calgary, Canada. I thought nobody would be able to attend because of the weather. BUT, I was wrong! The rain did come, and left, and it turned out we had a fun, wonderful meeting.
Our speaker was Rotarian Eamon Toner, a member from the Hollywood Rotary Club and Chair of Membership. Eamon's presentation was dynamic and energetic. He gave us tons of information and mentioned creative ways to increase our membership and motivate our members. Eamon's passion on this subject is evident and is contagious. We are so grateful you came to see us Eamon. Great job!
We surprised Rotarian Esther Brown singing happy birthday to her. We really caught her off guard. Happy Birthday! Esther.Every week when we meet at Anthony's there is one person who takes care of us. Claudia is always there to assist with everything we need. This sweet, attentive young lady is having a baby boy in August. At the end of our meeting, we celebrated the joyous occasion, and wished her many blessings and a happy, easy delivery.
Our Club has received many flags from international rotary clubs. Rotarians Marguerite Goulet and Connie Heatter worked on two banners where now all those flags are together. They did an amazing job! Thank you! Marguerite and Connie.
See you all on July 8th at the Installation.
