The Hallandale Beach-Aventura Rotary Club did it again! We are always ready to help our friends at the Gulfstream Academy and the United Way of Broward County.
On May 30, 2025, Rotarians Rosario Acevedo de Higareda, Randi Orpen, Tomoko Supak and Club President Evelyn Trinidad-Toraño, worked several hours together with other volunteers to set up and organize all the food that was going to be distributed during the afternoon. We were in charge of the cabbages and potatoes. From setting tables and tents, to carrying and opening boxes, to put fruits, vegetables, canned foods, pasta and much, much more in bags, we worked tirelessly to have everything ready. We were hot, sweaty and exhausted but satisfied knowing that many families were going to benefit. We are so happy we were able to help. That is what being a Rotarian is. ❤️

District Training Assembly (For our members - if they attend in person or via Zoom- and provide the Certificate of completion - we will reimburse the $85).
I’m excited to invite you to our upcoming District Training Assembly on Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM at Keiser University Miami (2101 NW 117th Ave, Miami, FL 33172). This event is a cornerstone of our Rotary year, offering valuable training and resources to help your club thrive in 2025-2026.
Attendance is mandatory for all incoming Club Presidents, Secretaries, and Treasurers, but we welcome and encourage ALL Rotarians to attend! Whether you're in a leadership role or simply looking to grow in Rotary, there’s something here for you.

• A variety of sessions designed to add value to your Rotary experience
• A chance to connect and collaborate with fellow members
• Breakouts tailored to your specific role or area of interest
📝 Registration Details:
As you register, you’ll be asked to select your sessions:
• Incoming Club Presidents should register for the Club President Elect sessions
• Incoming Secretaries and Treasurers will need to select one session each related to their respective roles
• All other members may choose the sessions that best suit their interests
💵 Cost:
• Incoming Presidents, Secretaries, and Treasurers will be billed $85 per person to their club
• All other Rotarians will pay $85 at the time of registration
• Rotaractors may attend for just $35
