FRI., FEB. 14TH - DAY OF SERVICE & LOVE GULFSTREAM EARLY LEARNING CENTER (HALLANDALE)

On February 14, 2025, members of the Hallandale Beach-Aventura Rotary Club volunteered for the Day of Service and Love at Gulfstream Early Learning Center.

Rotarians Marguerite Goulet, Alejandro Cascarano, Evelyn Trinidad-Toraño, and guest Rotary Exchange Student Tiara Maillo helped Dr. Lori Canning, parent volunteers, and the teachers, ushering the children, wiping little fingers after painting on the Ladybug Wall, showing the children the butterfly garden, seeing hundreds of ladybugs released, and walking around the flower and herb garden.

When you hear the word "volunteer," you think about something you are doing for others. After volunteering on February 14, at the Day of Service and Love at the Gulfstream Early Learning Center, we feel 'we received a gift.' Just looking at those adorable faces and being able to be there to share the children's moments of awe, is priceless. We Rotarians are grateful to be able to serve.

Gulfstream Early Learning Center has invited our Club Members to a light breakfast and volunteering. We will start off with coffee and a light breakfast at 8:30 AM and be ready for active planting and activities with children from 9-11. Please come and Volunteer."WE LOVE THE ROTARY CLUB! (and we love ladybugs, too!)"
