SAT., MAY 11, 2024 - 2024 FLEET WEEK SALUTE TO THE MILITARY

The Fleet Week event will feature Military and First Responder vehicle and dog demonstrations, Special Jr. Dolphins football experience for kids, Tug of War competitions against local fire, police and Navy teams, food trucks, kids activities, bounce house and much more. It’s a great opportunity to come celebrate our military members with a day of gratitude and celebration while promoting your organization.Volunteers Needed as our Club will be helping the kids write letters to the sailors.

MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS

Event Details:
• Date: Saturday, May 18th
• Time of Arrival: 7:15 AM
• Event start: 8:00 AM
• Opening Ceremony: 8:30 AM
• Walk start: 9:15 AM

Parking:
Parking is free for all. When you enter Zoo Miami, head straight down the long driveway. You will eventually reach the parking lot entrance, where you will take a right (headed to the West part of the parking lot) and follow that down until you reach the Asia Field as seen on the map below. This is different from the main entrance of the zoo. Volunteers will be stationed to assist you with directions.

Pet Policy:
Please note that all pets including service animals are NOT allowed at the event. In accordance with Zoo Miami's rules, individuals arriving with pets will be denied entry. To ensure an enjoyable experience for all, we ask that you leave your furry friends at home.

The Walk route is a 5k (see attached map), though a shorter 1-mile route is available as well. Anyone who wants to Walk will need to get a wristband at registration, with the exception of children under the age of two. Thank you for your commitment to supporting mental health awareness and for being part of this impactful community event. We look forward to seeing you on May 18th at Zoo Miami!
