Liz is from England where she was a Stockbroker for Credit Suisse First Boston. She moved to the USA in 1990 and proudly became a citizen in 2005. Liz has extensive non-profit experience, having led Habitat for Humanity of Hillsborough County and Feeding America’s Suncoast Harvest Food Bank. With a very strong background in facilities management, her passion has always been ensuring that people with disabilities have the same opportunities as everyone else.

Liz is a member of the Rotary E-Club 34 and is a Paul Harris Fellow. She was awarded the Herbert G. and Diane Brown Humanitarian Award from District 6950 in September 2020, for honoring the ideals of Rotary in her every day service to children with special needs.

Rotary’s Camp Florida, a 501(c)3 corporation, is a statewide project supported by Rotary Clubs throughout Florida and is located on 22 acres of lakefront property in Brandon. Creating a “barrier-free” facility for children with special needs was the goal of Florida Rotarians, and currently the camp hosts user groups that support children and adults with Cancer, Muscular Dystrophy, Epilepsy, Tourette’s syndrome, Down’s syndrome and many other challenges.
